Open/Closed

— lewdjaw

An exhibition of old and new works by the artist lewdjaw which will include (probably); 2 broken paintings, a fake light switch, an LED sign, 1 mural, 2 trodden on sculptures, 2 stools and a big vinyl of the word SKOOL.

The exhibition is called OPEN/CLOSED.
Whether an exhibition is open or closed is probably the least a visitor can expect from a visit to look at some art, and visitors to this exhibition can expect an LED sign which explains thoroughly which category this show falls into. Visitors that like fumbling at light switches will also get a kick out of the show and can expect to spend some time looking at the works on display in a well-lit room. Two new sculptures feature, which link closely to the artist’s broken paintings; which are being shown only for the second time. The artist, who regularly works with vinyl, has had a very large vinyl produced of the word SKOOL, it’s derived from a logo from the side of some school buses in Bristol. There may also be some other works in the show.
