After a two week residency in the Serf project space Sam Whyte presents a new sculptural work titled ‘what else what else like this like this’.
After an almost two year hiatus from making work Sam attempts to respond to old works and to navigate new ideas of what direction his future practice might take.
Whilst Sam takes various influences from architecture, literature and his archive of photos, he accepts that these interests are an impetus to make work and considers the final work to be a response to the gallery space and resolutely formal.
